2024-25 Data
The Comeback Continues in Camden
Updated data shows Camden students continue to narrow the gap with statewide peers post-pandemic.

Since the Spring of 2024, Camden Education Fund has compiled citywide student learning data to provide an overview of the progress or challenges Camden students are facing academically.
Over the last three years (combining results from all Camden public schools, inclusive of traditional district, renaissance, and charter schools), we have seen consistent progress for students. Every sector has seen improvement each year, and a citywide average of schools shows students have now rebounded from pandemic learning loss back to pre-pandemic levels — and in doing so, are starting to narrow long-standing achievement gaps with the state average in both ELA and math.
While Camden students still have a long way to go to reach their potential, the progress is real and sustained. We are encouraged by this third year of progress and are looking forward to further analyzing what is happening in our schools demonstrating growth to ensure that we can build on this momentum and help all schools continue to rise.
View student learning data from previous years:
Camden Students are Continuing to Catch Up

- Similarly in math, Camden students improved from 8% proficient citywide in 2022, and improved to 17% in 2025.

Camden Students are Narrowing Long-Standing Achievement Gaps:
- Over the last 10 years, Camden students have narrowed gaps with their statewide peers despite the pandemic.

Renaissance Schools are Driving the Rebound
- All Camden public schools are rebounding from pandemic learning loss at least as fast as statewide peers.
- Renaissance schools are driving the progress, bouncing back at three times the rate of the state average in ELA, and bouncing back at two times the rate of the state average in math.
