In 2022, Camden Education Fund and City of Camden launched the FAFSA Challenge, a citywide competition across district, renaissance, and charter high schools. The challenge awarded the public high school with the highest percentage of seniors to complete the FAFSA, or Free Application for Federal Student Aid application, a $25,000 prize at Citywide College Signing Day.

This year’s challenge will feature an exciting addition of a second New Jersey city. In partnership with the NJ Children’s Foundation and the City of Newark, Camden and Newark public high schools will compete for the highest completion rate by city.
