Exceptional Teachers Honored for Work Through Pandemic

CAMDEN, NJ – Ten of the city’s most exceptional teachers were honored by a local non-profit for their dedication through the pandemic.

This year, the Camden Education Fund’s Resilient, Inspirational, Solutions-Oriented Educators award recipients received $2,000 and a certificate from the city, but they also got a congratulations video from Elton Brand, the Philadelphia 76ers’ general manager.

“A committee of accomplished educators selected you from over 200 nominations because of your hard work and dedication to your students,” Brand said in the video. “I know this year has not been easy, but your students are very lucky to have you as a teacher.”
