Camden schools expect $1.2M in funding for students with disabilities

CAMDEN - City schools will receive more than $1.2 million from a local nonprofits to give kids with special needs extra support after more than 18 months of pandemic-produced education challenges. 

The non-profit Camden Education Fund will award $250,000 each to LEAP Academy, Uncommon Camden Prep and Camden City School District's Woodrow Wilson High School. The organization will give $245,900 to KIPP Cooper Norcross Academy, and $235,000 to Camden's Promise Charter School.
